Online EMT Recertification Training

Accredited by CAPCE & accepted by the NREMT.

Expiring in 2021?

The NREMT has waived the limits on distributive education - this means you can take the entire NCCP 40HR course fully online AND self-paced! If your certification expires in 2021, you'll be automatically enrolled in this course format when you register.

EMTs expiring in all other years are required to take the regular NCCP including live online sessions. Our training includes all required topics, allowing currently certified EMTs from any NCCP state to take it.

Complete the 40 hour NCCP recertification training at your convenience.

We also offer the NCCR ($225) and LCCR/ICCR ($125) topic hour components separately.

The "NCCP" Explained

EMTs renewing their NREMT certification need 40 hours of continuing education topics following the National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) model.

The NCCP is a total of 40 hours divided into the following components:

National Continued Compentency Requirements - 20 hours

13 hours of virtual instructor-led training + 7 hours of self-paced online learning.

LCCR

Local Continued Competency Requirements - 10 hours

7 hours of self-paced online learning + BLS Provider certification counts for 3 hours of instructor-led training.

ICCR

Individual Continued Competency Requirements - 10 hours

10 hours of self-paced online learning.

For non-2021 expiring EMTs, topics offered as virtual instructor-led training are administered as live online webinars in accordance with CAPCE/NREMT requirements.
