This course follows the NREMT’s National Continued Competency Program (NCCP), allowing currently certified EMTs from any NCCP state to take it. The NCCP is a total of 40 hours divided into the following components:
National Continued Competency Requirements (NCCR): 13 hours of virtual instructor-led training + 7 hours of self-paced online learning.
Local Continued Competency Requirements (LCCR): 3 hours of virtual instructor-led training + 7 hours of self-paced online learning.
Individual Continued Competency Requirements (ICCR): 10 hours of self-paced online learning.
Self-paced learning is available 24/7 on the course website. Virtual instructor-led training, as required by the NREMT NCCP, is offered online since we are CAPCE-accredited.
Live webinars are offered frequently during mornings (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays) and evenings (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays). You choose which online sessions to attend after beginning the course, and they can be taken in any order.
