How soon do I get access to begin the online training?
If your course tuition is being sponsored by an organization, access will be sent as soon as your organization approves the quote we email to them.
Do I need any in-person skills training?
Our course covers the required CEUs for renewing California EMT certification since we are CAPCE accredited.
Note that some counties in California require a skills competency verification in addition to the continuing education hours. You can go to a local EMS program in your area to gain your skills competency verification – we are unable to provide this as part of the CEUs we offer.
What if my California certification has lapsed?
Per the CA requirements, if your Paramedic certification has lapsed up to 6 months, you are eligible to take the 48 hour course.
If your certification has been lapsed for 6 months to 1 year, you need 60 hours of education.
If you’ve lapsed for over a year, you need 72 hours of education.
