When/ Why did you first become interested in becoming an EMT?
Becoming an EMT piqued my interest when I learned about their depth of experience with life-saving techniques and managing emergency situations. I wanted to take my science and healthcare background to the next level and learn how to apply it in the real world.
What is the most rewarding part about working in EMS training?
The ability to support students through their journey and watch as they work hard to accomplish their goals. From first email to course completion, I find myself constantly amazed by our students’ dedication and commitment to saving lives and supporting their community.
What excites you the most about joining the Allied Medical Training team?
Allied Medical Training operates at the forefront of EMS education. Their comprehensive courses, qualified and supportive trainers and staff, and inspiring students, make me excited to come to work every day.
If you could give advice to someone looking to become an EMT, what would you tell them?
Go for it! If you have any interest in entering the EMT field, or have any interest in healthcare or medicine, you cannot go wrong with taking an EMT course. The course takes time, effort, and dedication, but at the end students leave with invaluable skills that make a real difference.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
If I could have any superpower, I would choose super-speed. I see nothing more fulfilling than the ability to complete menial tasks quickly to make time for helping others, for global & cultural exploration, and for self-improvement.
